A little care keeps handmade pieces beautiful for years. Here is how to look after each material.
Olive wood
Hand wash in warm water and dry right away. Rub with a little food-safe oil now and then to feed the grain.
Clay & ceramics
Avoid sudden temperature changes. Most pieces are dishwasher safe, but a gentle hand wash keeps glazes their best.
Leather
Keep away from prolonged damp. Wipe with a dry cloth and condition occasionally so it ages to a rich patina.
Textiles & silk
Spot clean, or hand wash cool and dry flat away from direct sun to protect the natural dyes.
